  1. Usually, I am not a big fan of the police. But Officer Larry got it right.

  2. I wish we really had a cop like Officer Larry in the Congress. Instead of wasting time busting kids for smoking pot, maybe he would haul some of the career criminals in Congress away for the Military Tuition Assistance Cut.

  3. This is a funny video but the way the Congress is cheating our warfighters is no joke. We need to let our law makers know that we are not going to sit still for military tuition assistance cuts. We must stop HR1540!

  4. I am really tired of massive government spending meaning the need for a budget cut to be used as an excuse to cheat our warfighters for serving their country. If you need to trim the budget, why not begin by eliminating some of the waste and abuse? Just think how much these crooks with political connections make off the taxpayer. Everyone needs to learn about HR-1540 and do something about the military tuition assistance cuts being planned.

  5. Why is it that the very first thing they think about being eliminated is the education benefits of the enlisted? This kind of crap takes the class warfare issue to an entire new level!

How can they even think about cutting the education assistance we earned by serving our country? This is plain ridiculous. All of my battle buddies who enlisted were like me.
They joined to get help paying for their education. Now we are being ripped off by a bunch of politicians too chicken shot to serve. I don't think you ought to be able to hold high office if you never served your country.

  6. I agree that this is plain ridiculous. Another thing that does not seem fair to me is that many enlisted -- for example, the deployed infantry -- who I think are the ones who deserve it the most get little chance to use TA. If they kill off the for profit schools – the online universities – they are going to have even less opportunity. I think that is what this military tuition assistance cut is about. HR1540 is being pushed by the brick and mortar schools who are seeing their high priced monopoly being threatened by for profit online schools.

  7. Police! Police! Officer Larry! Quick, come make an arrest! Quick get over toe the US Congress and grab a couple of dirt bag Congressmen named Howard McKeon (R, CA-25) and Mike Coffman (R-CO). They are the ones behind the latest abuse of our fighting forces, the Military Tuition Assistance Cut. These thieves should leave our military benefits alone. We earned them! if the government wants to trim the fat, then they should start with welfare, medicaid, food stamps, etc. or how about a cut in the huge benefits our millionaire lawmakers rake in? They serve a few years living the high life in Washington DC then retire on a huge salary. In contrast, our vets have EARNED their right to help. The leaches collecting their welfare check every month haven’t done anything except be worthless. To learn more, google HR1540, Sec. 547 or RipOffReport #781157

  8. How can those blood-sucking politicians ignore the rising IED deaths (up 500% in less than four years!!!) and send more and more of our guys over there without the proper equipment needed to fight a war! My FRIENDS are dying over there. Now, these same Washington politicians are trying to steal out education benefits. They should be ashamed. They are letting our warfighters die while ramming through the Military Tuition Assistance Scam that HR1540, Sec. 547 represents.

  9. Good for Mister Rogers enlisting in the fight. We need to EDUCATE EVERY SINGLE VETERAN about this Congressional theft. e can’t let them get away with this Military Tuition Assistance Scam! HR1540, Sec. 547 is SERIOUS class warfare! How can they beach so hypocritical as to say they will give us an education when they take our husbands and children in high school and then don't EDUCATE them not only in the college-sense but in the HONOR sense! We need those who will stand for right and even be ABLE to refuse an unlawful order! Maybe they are afraid of warfighters who think for themselves.

  10. Here is the actual language from the proposed bill. It is about "modifying the program to require members of the Armed Forces participating in the program to pay for 25 percent of their education expenses." No one can have any doubt about the direction of events. It is all about cutting our tuition assistance; the next step is the GI Bill itself. The whole idea of our being rewarded for our service is under attack. Face it. The liberals hate the military. These are the same people who were spitting on us in the Vietnam era. They are the Clintons and the Obamas and all the others too cowardly to serve their country. Now they want to hold us down by denying us the education we have earned.

  11. Is there no end to the punishment you get for doing the right thing? When I think of all the blood spilled and lives lost, it makes me sick that the government is out to cheat our warriors out of the education they have earned.

The first stab in the back is just 25%. But you can bet that next comes 50% then 80% and finally it won't be worth enough to bother with.
